Hotel is a strong word. Motel is more like it. The location on the harbor is why it costs as much as it does, but the amenities, rooms, and entrance are all average (if that)

Warm, large outdoor pool (no hot tub) & nice outdoor seating with bonfire areas. Waterfront view of the bay, large parking area. Bikes & scooters are available for rental. Very friendly & helpful staff. The rooms aren't great, no private balcony & only one large window with a view of the parking lot (I'm on the first floor). Kinda weird that the sink is not inside the bathroom but not a big deal. There's a mini fridge & microwave along with a coffee maker. The public wifi here is unsecured but appears to have a decent connection. Overall it's a pretty good place to stay, mostly chose it because they accommodate pets here.

Simply put the beach is right across the street, The rooms and the property were clean and well-maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful. The Walk to Town is about 30 35 minutes but if you take commercial street you will pass a variety of art galleries, restaurants and interesting architecture. there is also a bus that will take you directly to town for $2 you want to be out there about 20 minutes before or 20 minutes after the hour to catch it. In summation the Harbor hotel was a great place to stay.
