The Harbor Hotel is ...

The Harbor Hotel is great and will be even better once the room renovations are complete. The communal spaces, the pool and the pool bar are awesome. Walk across the street to a beautiful and mellow beach. Scooters, ebikes and bikes out front get you anywhere you want to go and the bus also stops right out front. And that isn’t even the best part! Maurice, the host, is incredible. He goes above and beyond to accomodate his guests every need. The hotel is lucky to have him. Highly recommend this hotel.

It might have been ...

It might have been better if we had a different room. We didn't have the extra pillows other rooms had (I know, because all the empty rooms have the shades up.) They have dispensers for all the soaps, which I appreciate, less waste, BUT, our shower, although newly renovated, had no body wash. They have Keurig coffee makers, but did not provide a couple bottles of water for it like our motel in Hyannis did. They also only left enough creamer and sugar packets for 1 cup. Only 2 coffee pods. No decaf or tea options. If you get a room on the pool, courtyard side, be prepared for loud thumping music all day long. I wish I knew that when I was picking my room level. They have different rates for every type of room and views. They say they have a full Cabna bar and food by the pool, but after a day of site seeing, I wanted something to relax by the great fire pits they have, since I was done driving for the day. That all closed at 4pm, but no sign about that anywhere. I was told that at checkout when I mentioned it. There is no free water or coffee or any thing for breakfast or snacks in there huge lobby. I didn't use this service, but they have a fleet of electric bikes and scooters you can rent. I found out from other guests that there is a bus that runs by about every 15 minutes into downtown for just a dollar or two. The front desk staff were very nice and took the time to note my issues.

First time in Cape ...

First time in Cape Cod and this hotel was fabulous! I want to give special kudos to Maurice at the front desk. I ended up with a flat tire (not from the hotel parking lot). I’m from NY and being unfamiliar with the area it was stressful. Maurice took the time to call around and look up auto repair places for me. He didn’t have to do that and it was nice to experience great customer service like that. I plan on coming back to Provincetown again to explore some more and would certainly stay at the Harbor Hotel again! Thank you!!
