Wonderful hotel. Retro feel. Worth the extra cost for a bay view room. You see everything. It's a beautiful spot, only a half hour walk from the center of downtown (about 1.5 miles). The bus picks up directly in front of the hotel, and in the summer they have a golf cart service that brings you directly downtown. My wife and I spent a week (Monday thru Friday) here and it was worth every cent. The bay is directly across from the hotel. A one minute walk will get you in the bays waters which are super warm and comfy. It's worth exploring at low tide and enjoying the view at high tide. The hotel has a pool with a freshly renovated patio area that's massive. We were there when they were just finishing this remodel. The pool is nice and well kept.
