Had a great stay at the Harbor Hotel, the decor was really fun and the room was comfortable. The beds were comfortable as well! Loved the location in front of the water and being within walking distance to downtown (about a half hour or so walk) was a big plus

Is this a family or a beach boutique? Love the location. Just dont think they know what they are trying to be. Tons of families take over the pool where small children are omnipresent. I got a 2AM wake up call from a group of teens partying in the hallways. Restaurant needs some work yet servers are amazing friendly and spot on just the very weak $13 breakfast buffet to the mediocre fatty steak frites and avoid what they call clam chowder. Fire pit and outdoor seating areas are nice additions. Bar is solid both at pool area and whaler bar. Rooms are very clean and bedding is up to date with a nice touch Gilchrist and Soames soaps. AC unit works well and is generally unobtrusive. Staff is personable and location just outside of town is great available shuttle that works on tips or the $2 bus which stopis in front s a plus.

The room was ok a first glance but upon inspection, there was a pair of underwear left on the porch we had a pool view room, black mold on the curtains above the AC unit which was covered in hair and dirt, the carpet didn't seem to have been vacumed in a while,the bathroom was outdated and not very clean there was grim on the grout around the sink and tub not to mention some hair on the floor. The sliding door also was full of dirty handprints. Price wise it is is comparable to other hotels it did seem more updated then the others.
