Cape Cod Vacations at the Harbor Hotel Provincetown

Cape Cod Vacations at the Harbor Hotel Provincetown

Provincetown has always been a fun place to check out during the summertime. It's beautiful sand dunes and waterfront restaurants make for the quintessential Cape Cod experience.

Located at the tip of the Cape, the Harbor Hotel has recently given the former Cae Inn and entire facelift and transformed it into a modern hotel. Gone are the dated old bedrooms and in are stylish bay view rooms and suites with modern appointments (although the bathrooms do still need some updating).

We visited the property a few weeks ago and stayed in one of their pet-friendly rooms If you are not bringing a dog, be sure to ask for a room that is not near the neighboring animal, as the walls are thin and pets can easily be heard between each room. You won't even believe the transformation of this property from its former self. The beachfront hotel is located on the Cape Cod National Seashore on Rt 6A in Provincetown East End.

The rooms here are equipped with free WiFi and there is complimentary on-site parking available. If you are looking to go into town, which is just a short ride away, be sure to request information on the shuttle that can take you to the beach or the main shopping area.

We requested the complimentary use of two bikes during our stay and cruised downtown for the dinner at the touristy Lobster Pot restaurant. When we returned, the fire pit located in the patio on the front lawn was ablaze with numerous couples relaxing around it. In the morning, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast bar complete with bagels, pastries, juices and coffee before we departed.
