Single Women’s Weekend
This Friday, May 18th kicks off Single Women’s Weekend hosted by Provincetown for Women. The weekend is open to all women looking to meet a new friend or to have a good time. Come have fun with hundreds of other single women in a fun-filled weekend with dinners, comedy shows, wine tastings, and a dance party to end the weekend. Tickets are still available at provincetownforwomen.com or at the door.
Restaurant Week
The 4th Annual Provincetown Restaurant Week starts Friday, May 18th and runs through Thursday, May 24th. Provincetown restaurants, cited as the “culinary capital” of Cape Cod, will be offereing special prix-fixe menus for either $25 or $35; participating restaurants include Bayside Betsy’s, El Mundo, and Saki. After dinner Friday night, visitors can stroll down Commercial Street for the Friday Night Gallery Stroll where 30 of Provincetown galleries, museums, and shops will have longer hours for special receptions. Several Provincetown businesses are offering special promotions with a receipt from participating restaurants and galleries.

Photographer Stephanie Foster’s “The Dune Shack Experience” has been on exhibit at the Harbor Hotel’s Whaler Lounge since mid-April. Tonight the Harbor Hotel is inviting locals and visitors alike to a reception from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to enjoy Stephanie's incredible art, mingle and meet Stephanie Foster.
If you can't make it - we hope to see you at some point over the weekend. With chillier temperatures a few Whale's Tales will be needed to warm up!
PTown Green Arts Festival - Happenning Now!
We are excited to join the Provincetown Conservation Trust and the 2nd annual Provincetown Green Arts Festival,happening now through April 29th, in celebrating the beautiful environment that surrounds us year round. Works of art will appear all around town, changing and transforming right along with the spring season. Spring is a time of returning life, for plants and animals, most notably Humpback Whales. We encourage everyone to join us in helping bring awareness to the community about the amazing environment here on Cape Cod. 2012 Awards include a roundtrip airfare ticket and accommodations for the top international entry, and a two-week solo gallery show or reading in Provincetown or NYC.
Whale Watch Season Begins!
Whale watching season begins on April 11 in Provincetown and we couldn't be more excited! Just another sign that spring is here and summer is getting closer. The Whaler Lounge will be hosting a special Valentine’s Day “Dinner and a Movie” on Tuesday, February 14. Beginning at 5 p.m., guests can enjoy champagne and a special three-course meal. For $27.00 per person (plus tax and gratuity), lovers can choose between two appetizers and three entrees that is finished by a decadent dessert. Dinner will be followed by the romantic comedy Love Actually that features an all-star ensemble cast including dreamy British leading men Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, and Colin Firth.

February Fun!
The Grab Brothers Band, born and raised in Boston, will be performing at the Whaler Lounge on Wednesday, February 1st from 7-11 p.m. The Grab Brothers - Larry Grab, Marc Grab, Rob Scott, and Tom Corshia - have been described as a “kick-ass blend of Retro for Today,” whose lyrics and vocals pull on our heartstrings. Their music will have you singing along to songs you have never heard with their ability to seamlessly switch musical styles from Jethrol Tull to the Allman Brothers to Rush.
On Sunday, February 5th at 6 p.m. the Whaler Lounge will be hosting a viewing party for Super Bowl XLVI. This year’s game is sure to be full of excitement and big plays as Tom Brady and the New England Patriots take on Eli Manning and the New York Giants in a rematch of their 2008 Super Bowl meeting where the Giants won by a narrow 3 points. Come watch and root for your favorite team at the Whaler Lounge on our 100” tv screen and enjoy the game with a drink and complementary bites.
