Temps Are Rising - Take A Trip

Well, well, well - it looks as if spring has decided to arrive! We are looking forward to a weekend of sun and temperatures that are supposed to be in the high 50's and low 60's - it doesn't get much better than that! Provincetown Dahlia Society Spring Plant and Tuber Sale
Time: 11:00am-4:00pm
Event Description: On Sunday April 28th, the Provincetown-Massachusetts Dahlia Society will host its first spring root sale. Hundreds of dahlia varieties including some of the best ones currently on the market will be available for purchase at discount prices: $5 a tuber, or buy 4, get 1 free (5 for $20). All profits from the sale go towards paying for the annual show in September, which is free to the public. Come support the Dahlia Society while getting a great deal on some most sought after dahlias!
Spring Ahead!
Happy (belated) St. Patrick's Day! We hope everyone, even those who aren't Irish had the luck of the Irish yesterday. In other news, while the official start of spring is only two days away, the weathermen are preparing us for wintery weather - what is that about?! That won't get us down though -the hotel is a buzz as we prepare for the 2013 summer season. We look forward to seeing lots of friendly faces. April is just a few weeks away - which means The Pilgrim Monument Opens (April 1st), and come mid-April you can enjoy some of the best whale watching. What's even better is, you don't have to beat the crowds! Whenever you decide to make the trip, we are ready with open arms. For now, we are going to continue to hope that spring truly does appear soon!

March is here! It always seems that once January and February are behind us there is feeling of hope of the season change - here at the Harbor Hotel we are really looking forward to Spring and of course, summer!

Come in from the cold and visit the newest ARTBEAT exhibit, "Winter in Provincetown," curated by Steve Lyons and featuring works by Nancy Whorf, Frank Milby and others, as well as an original sculpture by Romolo Del Deo. The show includes historic work from PAAM and the Berta Walker Gallery. Opening tonight, December 13th through March 1, 2013.

Hurricanes, Nor'Easters, Oh My!
What a crazy few weeks it has been! First Superstorm Sandy landed and one week later a Nor’easter! Could these be signs of the winter we have coming our way?! Regardless, we have been enjoying ourselves at the hotel and warming our feet by the fire in the Whaler Lounge. The temps are supposed to rise for the weekend and we have a great lineup of entertainment: Grab Brothers Friday night and Daddy-O Saturday night! Doesn’t get much better than that.

Fall is in the air!
The temperatures are beginning to change but that doesn't mean we are slowing down here at the hotel. Our fall menu is up and running as is the fireplace in the Whaler Lounge. Fantasia Fair is in full swing - the week long fair is the oldest and longest-running event of it's kind. Provincetown welcomes you, and encourages attendees to spend this week presenting their gender in any way they want.
Dance Festival, October 19-20: Join the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill in celebrating 40 years with the 2012 Provincetown Dance Festival! For two nights the Provincetown Theater plays host to the annual festival. Distinguished dance troops come together to perform in a celebration of the arts.
